Coach Heater returns at the helm for the Cavaliers.  With multiple PIAA State Appearances (Top 6 2016, 3rd Place 2017, 2nd Place 2018, 3rd Place 2019) a "Tree Peat" WPIAL Titles and a Back to Back Westmoreland County Titles, Coach is looking to build on the team this year and content for the PIAA Championship.

Coach Heater has been with Coach Tursky since 1992.  He has anchored the coaching staff during his long tenure.  Coach is the ultimate team player, when asked to take over the Head Coaching position by Coach Tursky in years past, he respectfully declined, citing the record was in reach and Coach should see it through.

Coach Tursky is enjoying the retired life, especially his passion...fishing.  He will return as the Assistant Coach for the Cavaliers.  A graduate of Riverview  High School and four-year wrestler at Slippery Rock University...Began his coaching career at Burrell High School in 1980. Compiled a 50-66-1 record for the Buccaneers before taking over Kiski Area in 1987. He stands at the top on the WPIAL all-time victories list with a 500-134-2 career record. Named WPIAL Coach of the year in 1997 and 2003, and PIAA Coach of the Year in 2003.  Inducted into the PA Wrestling Coaches Hall of Fame, the Southwestern PA Wrestling Hall of Fame, Slippery Rock Athletic Hall of Fame in 2014, received the Lifetime Service to Wrestling Award from the National Wrestling Hall of Fame - PA Chapter, and was inducted into the Alle-Kiski Valley Sports Hall of Fame.

Don Toy

Coach Don Toy volunteers his time with the team and has been a tremendous asset to the staff.  Coach Toy retired from Kiski Area School District after over 16 years as a teacher.  Coach Toy is a very active runner and has been an active participant in the City of Pittsburgh Marathon events since their inception.
